Previously a space of mere functionality, this kitchen now radiates a newfound sense of flow, brightness, and efficiency. With the homeowner's approval, we orchestrated the replacement of builder grade maple cabinets with custom painted ones. The choice of white was deliberate, amplifying natural light and infusing the space with an airy, inviting ambiance.

By strategically relocating appliances, creating a dining nook and adding built-ins for extra storage, we've created a seamless flow that facilitates effortless movement and maximizes every square foot for usability. Every detail in this kitchen has been meticulously crafted to inspire both culinary creativity and lasting memories for this family.

Cozy Farmhouse Suite

Comfort meets coziness in a palette of delicate pink hues. This primary suite bedroom updates such as paint, flooring, lighting, window treatments, and accessories have completely transformed this space into a haven of tranquility and warmth. The soft, blush tones envelop you as you enter, inviting you to unwind and relax in style. With every detail carefully curated, from the plush rugs underfoot to the gentle glow of the sconce lighting over the nightstands, this space exudes a sense of peace. Embraced by comfort and enveloped in a cozy farmhouse charm, every corner whispers "relax and unwind."

White & Gold Master Bathroom

Picture a gold trimmed shower enclosed within two walls and a lowered soffit overhead, visualize small print pink and green Victorian rose wallpaper, and a diamond shaped chipped tile tub surround. Now you know how this bathroom looked before the remodel. 

A dramatic makeover took place in this master bathroom!  Upgrades such as built in tub with crystal faucet handles, a gorgeous crystal chandelier in the center of the room, a custom designed and built-in vanity with a built-in bookcase, a white polished quartz tub surround, and for the show stopping shower, crystallized thassos white and gold reflective tile.

Bright Primary Bathroom

Living, Dining, Sitting rooms and Patio - Newington, NH

Great Bay in Newington, NH lends itself to a perfect, tranquil location for this newly constructed home. During the framing phase the homeowners contacted Wysteria Design to help with space planning, a furniture layout, color palette, furniture selection, and accessories for the living room, sitting room, kitchen, and patio. One of my favorite features of this design is the hand-forged concentric orb chandelier, it hangs center stage over the gorgeous 68" round mahogany table.  Custom upholstered swivel chairs and ottoman sit on top a cozy ivory shag rug, nestled near the bar and windows for a relaxing place to take in the view.  The patio beams and fireplace mantles were milled from cut trees cleared from the homeowners' lot.  The fish print is called Nantucket Gyotaku, and it is hand painted from real fish onto Japanese Rice Paper, canvas, or linen by Susan O'Donnell. The gorgeous kitchen was designed by Linda Cloutier Kitchens & Baths and styled by Wysteria Design. 

Natural Living Space

Contemporary Country - Kitchen and breakfast nook

Believe it or not this started out as a dark cherry cabinet kitchen, with black granite countertops, and the island you see now but it was painted black!  The homeowners decided to call Wysteria when they couldn't decide where to relocate their refrigerator, if they should at all, and whether or not they should take out their existing custom bench seating area.   After assessing the functionality of the space and budget considerations, we all decided to keep the existing layout but splurge on items like Calacutta Venice quartz countertops with matching backsplash.  If you look close the gray veins on the countertop run right up the walls of the backsplash giving a light and airy feel to the room.  We are ecstatic that our clients were bold enough to go along with the idea of painting the bead board ceiling blue, along with a darker blue on the island.  We had custom upholstered bench cushions made in a gorgeous navy blue floral print and our interior stylist loaded the area with comfortable pillows that have energizing colors and patterns.  The result is a fresh take on a contemporary country kitchen.
