Mid Century Sunroom

It’s hard to imagine this midcentury modern sunroom before the transformation. The space had lime green walls, an old dining table and chairs, a few scattered plants, and plenty of cat scratching posts. The homeowners wanted to turn it into an uplifting, comfortable retreat where they and their guests could relax and enjoy the beautiful Stratham, NH landscape just beyond the windows.

With an abundance of natural light pouring into the room, we chose a neutral foundation layered with bright pops of color and a variety of textures. The goal was to complement—not compete with—the view, so furnishings and accessories were intentionally kept minimal and thoughtfully placed.

The result is a casual, contemporary sunroom that feels fresh, comfortable, and connected to the outdoors—a perfect spot to put your feet up, grab a good book and a cup of coffee, and enjoy the sunshine.
