Creating a spa-like retreat was the goal for this master bathroom transformation. From the beginning, we knew the full-height wall separating the shower and toilet area needed to be opened up and reduced to a half wall. This simple change brought much-needed natural light into the space, instantly making the room feel brighter, more open, and inviting.
We also considered removing the existing linen closet to make room for a tall pantry cabinet. Ultimately, we decided to keep the functional storage, update it with new wood doors, and put the budget toward two recessed medicine cabinets instead—adding both style and practical storage.
The newly transformed space features beautiful patterned floor tile, while the shower tile continues behind the toilet area to create a seamless, cohesive look. The result is a bathroom that feels spacious, bright, and beautifully connected from one area to the next.
