Located along Great Bay in Newington, NH, this newly constructed home was designed to take full advantage of its peaceful waterfront setting. During the framing phase, the homeowners brought Wysteria Design in to help shape the interiors, including space planning, furniture layouts, color palettes, furniture selection, and accessories for the living room, sitting room, kitchen, and patio.
One of the standout features is the hand-forged concentric orb chandelier, positioned over a striking 68-inch round mahogany dining table. Custom upholstered swivel chairs and an ottoman create a comfortable sitting area layered over an ivory shag rug, perfectly positioned near the bar and windows to enjoy the surrounding views.
Throughout the home, thoughtful details connect the interiors to the property itself. The patio beams and fireplace mantels were milled from trees cleared from the homeowners’ lot, adding a meaningful, custom element to the design. Artwork also brings a personal touch, including Nantucket Gyotaku by Susan O’Donnell, created by hand-printing real fish onto Japanese rice paper, canvas, or linen.
